So glad you stopped by, would you like some coffee? For my fall coffee I’ve been enjoying grinding these coffee beans and adding Pumpkin Spice to my oatmilk with a dash of cinnamon on top. Yum! Most of the time I just have plain, but sometimes it’s fun to add a little something.

I don’t use pre-made creamers, but I sometimes make my own! Another tasty addition I’ve tried in coffee is vanilla bourbon, which I shared here last year.

I still make my coffee in this stovetop espresso maker! Beatrix does a lovely job helping me. Beatrix is what I named my new stove, I’ll share more about her and our experience in a future post! But so far, I’m a big fan!

Speaking of coffee, I treated myself to these mugs recently and I love them. They come in a set of four and all of the designs and colors are so pretty. They are big, so I think of them as the kind you want to wrap your hands around to keep them warm! Very cozy for a fall morning in the kitchen!

People keep asking me if they missed the before and afters of our kitchen project. No, you didn’t! 🙂 Believe it or not, our kitchen and renovation project still isn’t complete. Womp womp womp! So close though.

I hope in the next two weeks I can put together a more official “reveal” post to share with you. Then I can also share the before and afters so we can remember where we started!

Someone recently said to me that the last 10% of a remodel is always the slowest to get done. I seem to recall that was true in our last renovation, too. There are always just a “few things” left to take care of, but my goodness those few “punch list” items seem to drag on forever. Makes me laugh that I thought we’d be done with our reno in June. Sigh!

I would be happy to share some of the situations we waited on in our project at some point, if anyone would like to hear about that! I do think it’s helpful if you are renovating to have some idea of what to expect, why some delays might happen and if you should speak up if anything isn’t right. At least you can prepare you heart for those delays and possibilities, just in case.

At least we have been able to cook and make coffee here for the fast few months so all and all, it’s fine. I’m so happy being in my kitchen and can’t wait to share more morning coffees here!

Thanks for stopping by, friend!
