Microsoft has announced its next gaming showcase, and it’s coming very soon. The Xbox Partner Preview will take place this Wednesday, October 25, and it will provide updates on a variety of games from third-party studios like Ryu Ga Gotoku, Remedy, Studio Wildcard, and more.

Importantly, though, there will be no news, reveals, or Game Pass announcements pertaining to Microsoft’s recently closed deal to acquire Activision Blizzard. Here’s everything we know about the Xbox Partner Preview about how to watch the event and what to expect from it.

What to expect

The Xbox Partner Preview will feature “new looks” at games coming to Xbox and PC, as well as “new info” on upcoming Game Pass titles from third-party studios.

“You can expect to see the latest information on in-game activities for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, a launch trailer for Alan Wake 2, the first gameplay for Ark: Survival Ascended, a dive into the social world of Dungeons of Hinterberg, and more,” Microsoft said.

The event will be more than 20 minutes in length, Microsoft said.

The Xbox Partner Preview is taking place just days before Alan Wake 2 launches on October 27, making it a fitting venue to host the Alan Wake 2 launch trailer.

What not to expect

Microsoft made it clear that the Xbox Partner Preview will not have any news or announcements regarding the company’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard or Game Pass news about ABK games. Microsoft has said fans should not expect ABK games on Game Pass until 2024, so anyone hoping to play Modern Warfare III via Game Pass is out of luck.

How to watch

The Xbox Partner Preview will stream like on YouTube and Twitch. Microsoft’s official YouTube stream will support up to 4K/60fps, while every other channel, including Twitch, will be capped at 1080p/60fps. The broadcast will air in more than 30 languages, including American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English Audio Description.

Subtitles will be available in Albanian, Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Canadian French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Maltese, Moldovan, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Castilian Spanish, LatinAmerican Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
